      "WEDDING BELLS -MURRAY-TIBBITS THE marriage was celebrated at Holy Trinitv Church of England, Blackall, last Wednesday evening of William Dawson, eldest son of Mr and Mrs M V. Murray, Blackall, and Nance Leigh, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs L. K. Tibbits, Blackall. Thc church was beautifully decorated by the girl friende of the bride. The Kev. H. W. Griffiths performed thc ceremony, and Miss Murray presided at thc organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of cultured pearl taffetta, the bodice featuring a high neck- line The shoulders were unusually trimmed with military tucking, the same effect finishing the large puff sleeves. The fully-flared skirt fell in folds and terminated in a sweeping train. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet and wore a string of pearls (the gift of thc bridegroom). Her handsomely embroidered veil was lent by Mrs Keith, of Morundah, and was worn with a coronet of orange blossoms. ' Miss Alice Tibbits attended her sister as bridesmaid and she wore a becoming frock of buttercup broderie anglaise made with a heart-shaped neckline, full puff sleeves, and billowy skirt. Her Juliet cap of buttercup velvet flowers was finished at the back with a bow and long ends. She carried a bouquet of quisqualis. Mr T. Murray, brother of the bridegroom, carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony the bride's parents entertained friends at a reception at their residence. Mrs Tibbits, mother of the bride, wore a frock of black georgette and a black hat. Mrs Murray, mother of the bridegroom, chose a black and white georgette frock and a black hat. The honeymoon, is being spent in a motor tour of the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. The bride travelled in a navy and white sheer frock, with a navy coat and accessories.."
