      "OBITUARY MR. GORDON WILLMOT Mr. Gordon Willmot (58), a well known dairy farmer of Georgica, died at the home of his brother in-law, Mr. Jacob Turner. Oliver Street, Lismore, early yesterday morning, after an illness of several months. Mr. Willmot was born at "Glenthorpe" Station, in the Moree district, and was the third son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. G.. Willmot. His early life was spent in the North-West on grazing pro perty. He came to the Lismore district prior to the last war. He enlisted with the A.I.F. and saw service in France as a member of the 13th Battalion, Fourth Division. Mr. Willmot returned to the Richmond River after his discharge and purchased farming property at Georgica. on which he had since successfully carried on dairying. He married, at Georgica, Miss Harriett Turner, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Turner, of Jiggi. Mr. Willmott had always taken an active interest in public and charitable organisations in the district, and was a loyal supporter and worker for the Church of England. In addition to the widow, a daughter, Miss Gwen Willmot. survives. Brothers of Mr. Willmot are Jack, Alex, Henry and Arthur Willmot. all of Moree, and James Willmot, of Maitland, and sisters are Mesdames W. Moffitt (Georgica). K. M. Davis and J. B. Corcoran (Sydney), N. S. Woods Graigue Station, Moree), and Miss S. L. Willmot (Sydney). He will be buried with military honours this morning, and the Lismore branch of the R.S.L. requests the attendance of returned soldiers, particularly those who served with the 13th Battalion, 4th Division, in the last war. The funeral will leave St. Andrew's Church of England, Lismore, to-day, after a service commencing at 11 a.m., for the Lismore cemetery."
