Nicholson, Salford, Roger Kirkpatrick, Esq., of Lagganlees, third son of the late Roger Kirkpatrick, Esq., of Dumfries, to Isabella Margaret, youngest daughter of the late Joseph Kirkpatrick, Esq., of St. Cross, Isle of Wight, and grand-daughter of the late John Kirkpatrick, Esq., formerly of Conheath, Dumfriesshire."

      Roger and Isabella had three sons and two daughters survive to adulthood . All died unmarried.
