      "A quiet society wedding took place' last Wednesday at St. Marks, Audley-street, the principals therein being Miss Adeline Wilson, daughter of the late Sir Samuel Wilson, of Ercildoune, Victoria, and Captain John Hardress Lloyd, till recently an officer in the 21st Lancers. The bride wore a charming gown of white satin, trimmed with a beautiful lace flounce, bordered with orange blossom, and with a girdle of flowers, while the train was draped with lace and caught with a large cluster of blossoms. She was attended by eight brides maids, the Ladies Kathleen, Norah, and Marian Hastings (daughters of the Earl and Countess of Huntingdon), and Miss Ileene Hastings (all nieces of the bride), Miss Myrtle and Miss Alys Lloyd (sisters of the' bridegroom), Miss May Wilson, and Miss Campbell, who were all attired in blue silk muslin. Among those who attended the wedding were Lady Wilson, the Earl and Countess of Huntingdon, the Hon. Osmond and Mrs. Hastings, Lady Rowena Paterson, Captain Wilson, Lady Angela Forbes, and Sir Arthur Lucas. After the ceremony Lady Wilson held a small reception at her house in Grosvenor-square."
