    • Sir Archibald Stewart of Burray, fought in the Battle of Worcester in 1651, where he was captured. He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1683 in the service of the Orkney Militia. He was created 1st Baronet Stewart, of Burray [Nova Scotia] on 4 November 1687, with special remainder to his male heirs whatsoever.
