WILLMOT.The death occurred in the Moree District Hospital on Tuesday of Mr.George Henry Willmot.The deceased, who was 83 years of age and a single man, was a native of the Hawkesbury district. He came to Moree when a young man and attached himself to a survey party. Severing his connection with the survey party after some years, he then drifted into Queensland, where he remained, following various occupations, until about six years ago, when he returned to Moree and went to reside with his nephew, Mr.Alex. Willmot, of Alice Street, East Moree, with whom he lived up to the time of his death.The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, the remains being interred in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, Rev. H. E. West officiating at the graveside.Messrs. Logan and Co. carried out the mortuary arrangements. Jack Cavanagh's orchestra will supply the music at the Springtime Ball and Mannequin Parade to be held in the Moree Memorial Halll on September 8 next. "
