"KERR.-On the 22nd May, at his residence,"Aura," Narre Warren, Hamill Kerr, aged 73 years. A colonist of 54 years."
Obituary. Mr. Hamil Kerr, well known formerly in commercial circles, died on Monday at his residence. "Aura," Narre Warren,aged 73. He was a colonist of 54 years.For many years he was connected with the late firm of R. and H. Kerr, merchants, Collins Street, Melbourne, and subsequently of Kerr and Mortimer,Forest Creek. Deceased was a member of the first committee of the Melbourne Mechanics' Institute. Mr. Kerr was ailing for a considerable time, and the immediate cause of his death was heart failure. Cr. R. H. Kerr, J.P., of the Ferntree Gully Council, is a son of the deceased.
