    • Castile served with the U.S army during WWI,as a Private.When he enlisted ,on 5th June ,1917,he was single,and working as a hospital porter at Hahnemann Hospital,San Francisco.He arrived in the U.S on 15 Aug 1912,and in his enlistment record ,states his father,hinself an American, had registered him with the Consul in Sydney,as an American citizen.
